The team

Our Parliament of Owls

These are the people behind the work.

The strategists, creatives, analysts, account leads, and operators who will know your business, sit in the meetings, and stay close to the outcome.

Rooted in Louisville since 2014. Trusted to think beyond it.

We work with leaders who expect clarity, accountability, and people who understand the business behind the brief.

We are not built for everyone. We are built for leaders playing to win.

The people you would actually be working with

No stock photos. No mystery team behind the curtain. Just the people you will actually work with.

Jenna Ahern, Founder and CEO at Guardian Owl Digital

Jenna Ahern

Founder and CEO

With a background working under Google Premier Partners and automotive names like Autotrader and Kelley Blue Book, Jenna has spent her career helping businesses become visible and get chosen. She founded Guardian Owl in 2014 and lectures on AI at the University of Louisville College of Business.

Outside the agency she is Vice Chair of the Louisville chapter of Blessings in a Backpack and sits on the board of the University of Louisville’s Center for Positive Leadership. Feeding children here who cannot feed themselves, and teaching positive leadership in this community, are what drew her to both.

The moment she points to is not an award. It is watching a client hire more people because the marketing worked. What that has taught her: make every day count.

Curious?

Jamie Ahern, Chief Digital Officer at Guardian Owl Digital

Jamie Ahern

Chief Digital Officer

Jamie is the one clients stay with. She describes her longest relationships as the thing she takes most care over, and the care shows up as strategy rather than service: clients come to her for the option they had not considered.

Years on sports teams taught her to put the team before her own preference, and she carries that in as the person colleagues go to when they need a sounding board, without judgement.

Outside work she volunteers, and the one she names is Pride. Seeing the families there, and knowing she was part of it, is how she describes the work mattering. Animal rescue and women’s health are the other two causes she would want this company behind.

Bailey Phillips, Director of Marketing and Operations at Guardian Owl Digital

Bailey Phillips

Director of Marketing and Operations

Bailey works a few steps ahead of everyone else. She is thinking about where a project could get stuck and how a decision will land on the team, and when it is working nobody notices it happening.

A background in competitive gymnastics, coaching, sales and account management taught her that people learn differently, that what someone asks for is rarely what they need, and how much of the job is trust. She will tell you what she thinks, and it always comes from wanting to help.

She and her husband are about to become a family of three. She is a planner by nature and says she is learning that not everything has to go to plan to turn out the way it should.

Cassidy Anderson, Director of Paid Media Intelligence at Guardian Owl Digital

Cassidy Anderson

Director of Paid Media Intelligence

Cassidy spends her days inside paid media accounts, studying what is working, what is changing, and where the numbers are telling us to look next.

She played collegiate volleyball at the University of Georgia, where training, discipline, and preparation were part of everyday life. That love of competition never really left. Today, she continues to train and coach as a lead instructor at Ambition Fitness.

At Guardian Owl, she brings that same focus to paid media. She studies performance closely, looks for what is changing, and pushes accounts to keep improving rather than settling for what worked last month.

For Cassidy, the scoreboard just looks a little different now.

Kylene Lloyd, Photographer and Visual Sales Development at Guardian Owl Digital

Kylene Lloyd

Photographer and Visual Sales Development

Kylene is an award winning photographer who has shot around the world and been nominated for a Pulitzer. She ran her own business for more than ten years before joining the nest.

Connor Rafferty, GO AI Content Manager at Guardian Owl Digital

Connor Rafferty

GO AI Content Manager

Connor reads one entry a day from a usage dictionary. His reasoning is not that most people notice a grammar mistake, but that the few who do may be the ones who matter.

He tests AI tools constantly and most of it never surfaces, which is the point. On the GO AI podcast, the best answers come from the questions he improvises rather than the ones he prepared.

Rachel Coomes, Content and Community Specialist at Guardian Owl Digital

Rachel Coomes

Content and Community Specialist

Rachel came from film production, which is a different way of seeing a brief. Turnarounds are fast and she still treats everything she makes as hers.

She has learned to say the idea out loud rather than wait to be asked, because she has found her ideas are usually worth hearing.

Camila Alldaffer, GO Marketing and Studio Associate at Guardian Owl Digital

Camila Alldaffer

GO Marketing and Studio Associate

Camila is the reason things are where they should be. She genuinely likes organising, and the people around her know they can hand her something and it will be handled.

On a shoot at Angel’s Envy she realised mid session that the look was not landing, changed how they were filming, and the client got what they came for.

Kaylee DeWeese, Social Media Curator, part time at Guardian Owl Digital

Kaylee DeWeese

Social Media Curator, part time

Kaylee is finishing a business degree with a psychology minor, and the psychology is the part that shows. She looks past the engagement number to the person behind it.

She co-founded LouBrew, a student run coffee shop at the University of Louisville, and pushed the team to ask students what they actually wanted rather than build around their own assumptions.

Stacey Bargar, Google Ads Specialist at Guardian Owl Digital

Stacey Bargar

Google Ads Specialist

Stacey has managed thousands of campaigns, from zero visitors to millions, for names like Stellantis and Microsoft and for local startups. Fifteen years of stewarding campaigns nationwide sits behind every account she touches.

Leah Watts, Project and Billing Specialist at Guardian Owl Digital

Leah Watts

Project and Billing Specialist

Leah is the connective tissue between projects and billing. She has a love of detail, and everyone gets slightly nervous when something is outstanding.

Claire Martin, Growth and Partnerships Associate at Guardian Owl Digital

Claire Martin

Growth and Partnerships Associate

Claire volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and with JCPS, and what she takes from it is to pay attention to the person rather than the task.

She is newer here, and she treats that as a reason to ask more questions rather than fewer. She takes care that people feel heard when they talk to her, whether that is a prospect or a teammate.

Gabe Clover, Intern at Guardian Owl Digital

Gabe Clover

Intern

Flight school taught Gabe that the small thing you ignore is how the bad thing starts, so he double checks rather than assumes.

When he could not consistently hit the mark on short field landings, he asked to spend an entire lesson on it, did about fifteen, and never missed it again. He would rather ask the obvious question than pretend.

Who we bring in

Our Trusted Specialists in the Tree

Some work calls for expertise outside our core team.

When that happens, we bring in specialists we know, trust, and have worked alongside before. They extend what we can do without blurring who is accountable.

Guardian Owl stays close to the strategy, coordination, and bigger picture.

These are some of the specialists we trust enough to bring into the tree.

Where our time goes

What Keeps Our Wings Steady.

We asked everyone on the team which causes they would want this company to support. The answers were personal, local, and different. That was the point.

Habitat for Humanity and JCPS

Claire builds and volunteers in schools. She says the point is being able to see who you are helping.

Louisville Visual Art

Bailey wants art kept accessible to kids here, because it is part of what makes the city feel like itself.

LouBrew

LouBrew gives University of Louisville students hands on experience building and running a real business. Kaylee helped cofound it, so for her it represents education, entrepreneurship, and learning by doing.

Animal Rescue and Women’s Health

Jamie chose causes connected to two areas she cares deeply about: animal welfare and women’s health. She also gives her time alongside the LGBTQIA+ community.

The Humane Society

Animals are part of nearly every household on our team. The one exception has become the unofficial Guardian Owl pet sitter when someone travels. Supporting animal welfare is something the team naturally connects around.

Up for Women and Children

Up for Women and Children supports women experiencing homelessness by helping them access basic needs, resources, and a path toward greater stability. Camila chose it because its work is practical, local, and centered on dignity.

Blessings in a Backpack and the Center for Positive Leadership

Jenna serves as Vice Chair of the Louisville chapter of Blessings in a Backpack and sits on the board of the Center for Positive Leadership. One helps address childhood hunger locally. The other focuses on developing stronger leaders and healthier organizations.

Not just found. Chosen first.
